Dear travel agents,
Back in 1825 the Great Migration of Norwegians to America began when 52 Norwegians braved the tempestuous voyage across the Atlantic aboard the little sloop Restoration.
Since then, more than a million Norwegians have emigrated to the USA, and America was called “The New World”.
Explore Minnesota, Travel Wisconsin and Icelandair are pleased to invite one staff member (sales staff, or product manager) on an exciting fam tour to the great areas around Minnesota and Wisconsin. The purpose of this FAM is to get familiarized with Wisconsin and Minnesota destinations, experience the many different activities, learn more about the relationship to Norwegian heritage and experience the perfect service Icelandair offers from Norway to USA.
A group of Norwegian travel agents will depart OSL, Thursday at noon, May 30th 2024 and return Tuesday evening, June 4th 2024.
During the fam we will be guided by Inge Lundereng who holds lots of knowledge after living in these areas for over 15 years. We will also be escorted and hosted by our fantastic partners Explore Minnesota/Cheryl Offerman and Travel Wisconsin/David Spiegelberg.
We are currently working on a detailed itinerary, which we will share with you in due time before departure. Meanwhile, please advise us soonest possible if you are interested to participate in this fam tour.
Cost of participation is 100,- USD.
