SOUTH DAKOTA SCULPTURE TRAIL
For art lovers looking for a day trip, or groups wanting to explore South Dakota in a new light, the South Dakota Sculpture Trail invites you to visit our communities and enjoy the unique arts, culture and people. The trail is a free public art museum that covers the state and includes world-class sculptures like the four iconic United States presidents carved into the mountain at Mount Rushmore National Memorial and the famous depiction of Native American Chief Crazy Horse at Crazy Horse Memorial, the largest sculpture-in-progress in the world. Make sure to check out the City of Presidents in historic downtown Rapid City, and the Trail of Governors in South Dakota’s capital of Pierre.
